1. A docker image is created with the following DockerFile and deployed on ECS

FROM python:3.12-slim

ENV PYTHONDONTWRITEBYTECODE=1
ENV PYTHONUNBUFFERED=1
ENV PORT=7000

WORKDIR /backgroundservice

RUN apt-get update && apt-get install -y --no-install-recommends curl && rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/*

COPY . /backgroundservice
RUN pip install --no-cache-dir --upgrade -r requirements.txt

EXPOSE $PORT
CMD ["sh", "-c", "taskiq scheduler main:app & python3 -m http.server -d /healthiness $PORT"]

2. Currently there is only one scheduler but we will need more in near future.

It seems like you have scheduler in each http server application. Please note that in docs on page about scheduling this big warning exists.

Deploy schedulers as separate service and ensure only one instance is always running.

This runs just once and for healthiness purpose only. I guarantee that one schedular is running.
