Using the bionumerics E. coli database and the genome assembly GCA_032362635 took more than three hours and 121 Gb of memory. This needs to be investigated and determined what is the issue. Normal run time is ~10 mins for other genomes with the same scheme. The genome has correct characteristics in terms of size and other features compared to others. There were others as well that took a long time to finish, so it is worth investigating where the slow down and high memory use are coming from.
