The Firefox package does not depend upon libu2f-udev and it is therefore not installed on new installations of Pop!_OS, however, without it all U2F devices will fail to work with popular services (i.e. Google Accounts/GMail, GitHub/GitLab, Nextcloud, Yubikey, etc).
Steps to reproduce:
Install a fresh Pop!_OS install, attempt to use firefox to access any U2F protected service. The authentication attempt will fail.

Issue/Bug Description:
The Firefox package does not depend upon libu2f-udev and it is therefore not installed on new installations of Pop!_OS, however, without it all U2F devices will fail to work with popular services (i.e. Google Accounts/GMail, GitHub/GitLab, Nextcloud, Yubikey, etc).
Steps to reproduce:
Install a fresh Pop!_OS install, attempt to use firefox to access any U2F protected service. The authentication attempt will fail.
Expected behavior:
U2F devices work out of the box with Firefox.
Other Notes:
This issue was resolved upstream in ubuntu-meta desktop packages. (Reference: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-meta/+bug/1752202 and https://launchpadlibrarian.net/364037533/ubuntu-meta_1.414_1.415.diff.gz )
Google Chrome requires libu2f-udev and therefore does not have this issue.
