Allow to configure the numbering delimiter (cross-reference)

Description

Currently, all cross-references numbering are using dot as the delimiter for the numbering: Section 1.1, Figure 1.2, etc.

Adding a setting to change the delimiter for numbering of all type of cross-reference could be useful to customise outputs.

The main issue would be to make it work across formats or at least most of them.

As a workaround:
