Page 8 of https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/cc1101.pdf says 3.9 volts is maximum, with 3.6 volts being the operational max. If you have a voltage regulator that gives 3.3 to 3.6 volts from a 5-volt supply, then you could connect the 5-volt external and ground pins to the regulator, and then run your CC1101 at 3.3-3.6 volts from the output of the regulator. |

I got the Ebyte CC1101 (first one in the wiring diagram). Does it support 5v (pin1) or is it recommended to only use the 3v3 pin.
There is a radio setting to enable 5v and wondering why it is not used.
