Telerik dependency

Hi Roman

We recently had a problem with telerik controls being used as a vector to hack some of our dnn instances.

We use some of your R7 DNN extensions a lot for websites we build.

I was wondering when you maybe will be putting out dnn extensions without current telerik dependencies?

Hi, Brent! I have that in mind, but cannot give you any time frame for that. The main problem is that many extensions rely on DnnUrlControl, for which there are no drop-in replacement except downgrading to much less useful and even more ancient UrlControl. Another option is to rewrite major parts of UI to (e.g.) React - which can be achieved, but with much more effort.
