  • Fewer clicks. No installation options are presented to the user at all (for the standalone build).
  • ReadMe now opens in Notepad instead of showing the "open with..." screen.
  • We install the sdk-v1.4.0 version of pico-examples instead of the latest version. pico-examples is included in the installer now (like pico-sdk) and not cloned after install.
  • Added icons for the VS Code shortcuts.
  • Removed the workspace trust warning when opening pico-examples using our installed shortcut.
  • Added C/C++ extension pack so that VS Code does not prompt to install it later.
