a lógica está correto, mas recomendo vc criar as variáveis para fora do if. Sei que não era o caso pq o else ja imprimia uma mensagem sem depender das variáveis, mas como vc está treinando e aprendendo, acho legal manter a pratica de nao prender as variáveis num escopo limitado.
