Since github repos have started getting content I think there should be a readme with contribution guidelines and code of conduct for newcomers in addition with what has been proposed in this post https://forums.rockylinux.org/t/step-by-step-process-for-forking-rebuild-rhel/192 but more focused to code repos such as ansible playbooks, the landing page code etc. If you are already working on it please ignore the issue :) .

We have something to this nature on the website repo, but admittedly that's for code repositories, not just general contribution guidelines.

Perhpas this should be split in two?

  1. Content Submission Guidelines that explains how to provide PRs, write issues etc. It would also need to cover licensing
  2. Community Guidelines that cover code of conduct etc.

I'd be happy to get started on the Community Guidelines. Can I suggest the 1st step is a dedicated repo? This should not take too long as I am sure we can adapt guidelines from other projects.
