Why is the Satispay module free on GitHub but paid on Addons?

I noticed that the Satispay module is available for free here on GitHub, but it is listed as a paid module on the Addons marketplace. Could you clarify the reason for this?

Are there any differences between the GitHub version and the one available on Addons (e.g., additional features, support, or guarantees)? Or is it simply a matter of distribution strategy?
