The Fractal Audio ASIO driver supports multiple Inputs and Outputs. I have successfully configured them with Guitar Rig 6/7, ToneX, Kemper, Amplitube, STL Tones, Studio One etc.

The ASIO options dialog is very rudimentary and doesn't work correctly. All the other plugins that I use list ALL the Inputs and Outputs using their fully qualified names (e.g. "IN 2 [OUTPUT 2 L + R]"), NAM only lists them as "1"/"2"/"3"/"4"/"5"/"6" etc. - and those choices don't enable the relevant Inputs/Outputs anyway.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Start NAM
  2. Select File > Preferences
  3. Choose ASIO in the Audio dialog
  4. Attempt to switch between the different Inputs and Outputs
  5. No sound is received or sent by the NAM plugin.

Expected behaviour
The plugin should switch between the various ASIO inputs and outputs

I assume this is only the standalone?

Your Issue says it's a problem with VST as well, but plug-ins don't handle hardware I/O--the VST host does.

I have almost the same issue, I have a Steinberg UR-22 and cannot select input 2 at all, and I would ideally like to choose input 2 for both channels.
