Yes chipolo looks good, though I still think it's bit overpriced. If your tracked item gets lost/stolen it would be double disappoining for the lost tracker as well :D
I really like the idea of turning a cheap BLE tracker into an AirTag and if we can also cram Google's FMD network in there that would be even greater. TBH I'd be perfectly satisfied having only the latter, and hopefully it would be simpler to implement / more compatible with various devices.

Any updates, am looking for a tracker that does Android find my at least. One that does both would be amazing since my family has a split iPhone/Android Household.

BLEnky can do custom advertisement packets, just saying. Your could Programm the appropriate advertisement packet into there. If you need to advertise two different packets (apple and Android for example), I can add that in.

Isn't it quite difficult to produce a BLE compatible signal with the Nordic chips?
