sl-input throws error: classMap() can only be used in the class attribute

I'm linking to cdn.jsdelivr.net. (and the matching stylesheet)

On page load, using just a simple tag, with or without attributes, I get

I can't reproduce this and we're not seeing any other reports of it. Can you provide more info? What tags are causing it? What version of Shoelace? What browser are you using? Have you tried disabling browser extensions to see if that affects it?

Import: I'm using the cdn.jsdelivr.net links from the linked page, yes.

The entire error message is in my original post.

I've tried it with all extensions disabled, Chromium and Firefox. Same error.

I've tried both sl-input and sl-textarea since those are the ones I want just now. Same error.

I tried importing the individual components, using links from the shoelace website. Same error.

The app is also using jQuery and Prototype/Scriptaculous.

I asked because I wasn't able to replicate it. I took the time to create a new project, add Shoelace, add some components, and everything worked fine. That's why I asked you for more information.

Unfortunately, there's not much I can do to help at this point because I can't reproduce it. I even tried throwing a couple different versions of jQuery on the page. Lastly, I triple checked to make sure we're only using classMap() on class attributes and we definitely are.

I suspect something in your project — possibly one of those older libraries — is causing this, maybe through overloading or something. You can try removing those dependencies temporarily to narrow it down.

I'll post again with what I find out. I begin to suspect it may be prototype/scriptaculous. I'll try tomorrow.

Prototype/scriptaculous, jQuery, not factors in this issue.

I found the problem buried deep in another library: a function String.prototype.endsWith. When that was renamed, the error went away, so...collision?

Anyway, fixed. Thanks!
