Ember Support? #680
-
Hi. So I would like to help move the needle on a legacy(ish) Ember-driven system. This includes starting to migrate reusable components to a process that will reduce load in the future as we migrate. Is there anything I need to be mindful of if we opt to use shoelace for this? I know a while ago Shoelace used Stencil which has a mention of it in their documentation for an adapter but it's been collecting dust for ~4 years so I'm not exactly jumping at the opportunity to rely on it. I noticed that Shoelace has since migrated to I will be prototyping regardless to see how everything might be able to fit together, but I wanted to ask here in case there are any upcoming pitfalls I should be aware of. |

The page you linked to is about Reactive Controllers, which is a feature of Lit. It's not indicative of whether or not web components will work with any of the libs/frameworks listed therein. That said, I'm not sure how well Ember plays with custom elements. It's not listed on Custom Elements Everywhere, and I've personally never used Ember. Sorry I can't be of more help here. I'd be interested to hear more about your experience, though, so please keep me updated! |
