This release fixes security bugs, where the maximum message size was much bigger than is secure.

affected values were:

  • crypto_secretstream_xchacha20poly1305_MESSAGEBYTES_MAX
  • crypto_aead_aegis128l_MESSAGEBYTES_MAX
  • crypto_aead_aegis256_MESSAGEBYTES_MAX
