Will 0.45.0 support Kafka 3.9.1? #11430

Yes, 0.45.1 will support Kafka 3.9.1. We already ran our regression tests on the RC1 but it seems now the Kafka community needs a new RC2. So, there is no ETA for both, Kafka 3.9.1 and next Strimzi 0.45.1 but it could take one month easily (hoping less). |

Hi!
thank you very much, I really appreciate your work!
I have a question regarding the operator release 0.45.0 that is the last one supporting Kafka with ZK. I would like to upgrade to this release and do the KRaft migration with this release. Unfortunately, I read the Kafka 3.9.1 rc Release Notes and became a bit anxious about this migration since there seems to be a KRaft only bug that potentially causes data loss. I know that this is a rare case and everybody that has already migrated to KRaft is potentially affected. Nevertheless, knowing of this bug makes it seem unreasonable to upgrade.
So my question is whether you plan to support the 3.9.1 release in a 0.45.1? This would be eaier than having to upgrade to 0.45.0 with 3.9.0, migrate to KRaft and then upgradeing to 0.46.1/0.47.0 and update to 3.9.1.
Thank you very much for your help!
