The app is amazing and overall rock solid. Amazing for a free app so thanks for the development efforts. Certainly works better than iCloud Drive! I have a couple of sort of related q's/requests, which i'll make separate issues.
How do i avoid this certificate issue when I use 'open' from the menubar? It happens every week or so.
I have a self signed certificate i presumably created when i installed the app. Every time this happens i view it and change it to 'Always Trust' but it always occurs again. And i always select stay logged in when it asks me to login after this.
(I'm mostly using open to view the sync status of my shared folders, which i think would be very useful info to have in the menubar, the subject of my other issue)

This is normal when enable SSL. When using Syncthing service not exposed to x.x.x.x IP instead of 127.x.x.x (localhost). SSL does more harm then good. When accessing the service web interface bound to a LAN network address SSL should be enable and webGUI password set. I can't help you with the basics of enabling/maintaining SSL and is partial out of scope of the Syncthing for macOS project.
