What is the plan for the legacy JavaScript configuration option in the future?

In v4, this has only remained as a secondary configuration interface for us. Is there a plan to completely remove it from the TailwindCSS ecosystem in the future? Currently, the CSS-first configuration options don't really appeal to me, as they don't allow for more complex setups.

If I rely on JavaScript configuration for an extended period, could it eventually come to an end, or is it expected to stay with us?
