I had a disposable pad trying to build a station module, but the module was in the wrong orientation by default. So I edited the craft file, and even save it under a new name, and the preview icon showed the module was in the new orientation, but according to the convex hull preview on the pad, it was going to build in the same orientation as the first craft file.
Tried multiple edits with the VAS and SPH, but no matter what the pad would only build the module in the same orientation. I had to use eva construction to actually rotate the disposable pad in the end.
Either taking the saved craft's orientation into account would be the obvious fix, but otherwise being able to rotate the craft before you start building like a normal pad would work as a workaround too.
