One problem is the documentation is a bit in limbo, with a new website in preparation but stalled for the last few months. But perhaps we should just put it out anyway, so it can start making its way out into the world..

I think #1053 (I did not look into it yet) and the OSC controller thingy are candidates to be part of 1.10 too, I guess. What is there to do for the new docu/webpage? And is there already a release name, hehe?

Just note, that todolist is everything up to before the new release.

I'll try to determine soon the tasks necessary to get the site ready for publishing. And I'll also look through the changelog to see what needs to be changed. Other than that, for what's left we'll need to manually determine what docs need to change.

I could work on it and make a PR, should be easy. Next thing that comes to mind is (re)naming of functions where appropriate combined with rethinking the tidal prelude idea.

there exist many aliases, maybe we could reduce them for a v2 and create consistency in user faced functions naming regarding camel- or not case (I'd like all lowercase). and those apostroph and underscore version of functions often confuse me.

Hmm I don't think there's a need to break old patterns unnecessarily. Standardising case in terms of what's encouraged/documented would be good though.. Or we could just support both in all cases (ha).

Underscore functions are those without patterned parameters - useful for making new functions rather than part of the UI.

Apostrophe functions I've been trying to rename to something more descriptive.

you're right about the pattern breaking point. Changing cases would break some things too, but I think consistency is important. So maybe we really should/could support both. I'm not sure.
