Download Extension

Navigate to releases, select the most up to date version of the extension.
Download the stackassist-x.x.x.vsix file

Installation Instructions

Through VSCode

Steps

Open VSCode
Go to View > Extensions
Click the more options ellipsis > Install from VSIX
Select the downloaded file

Through Terminal

Prerequisites

code CLI being available in your terminal window: https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/editor/command-line
- For Windows and Linux, this should already be available, for mac simple instructions to be followed

Steps

Open a terminal or command line window, navigate to the directory of the download
code --install-extension stackassist-x.x.x.vsix

Use extension

To open a StackAssist chat window Cmd+Shift+P and type Start StackAssist
