not a valid add-on repository

Hi all,
I'm new to Home Assistant, so please bear with me.
I have installed the latest Home Assistant (Core 2025.2.5, Supervisor 2025.02.1, OS 14.2) on a Raspberry Pi 4.
When I try to do the HACS install as described in the README, I get the error message: "https://github.com/torbennehmer/hacs-e3dc.git is not a valid add-on repository"
I've tried the URL witout the ".git" part as well with the same result.
Then I tried the manual installation, but after that and restarting Home Assistand, the repository doesn't show up when I search for it under Configuration -> Integrations.

Any ideas?

Please enable debug logging and add the output you're getting there here. I have not yet tested against 2025.2 with current HACS, maybe there's something going on there which I've missed so far.

Thanks for your reply.
Meanwhile I've got it up and running. It was my mistake!
As mentioned before I'm very new to HA (just installed it the day before) and I wasn't aware that you have to install HACS before you can do a HACS installation - facepalm
I tried to install the repository under Configuration -> Add-on -> Add-on Store -> Repositories - that failed of course.

When done the correct way, it works.
