Update for gnuradio v.3.9+ #24
Comments
Any news on this? |
Hi folks, I am no longer actively maintaining this tool since it was developed as a research proof of concept and I have since moved on to different research topics. However, I am happy to accept pull requests if anyone is willing to develop patches to port the code to newer installations :) |
That's very sad! Gnuradio is an amazing tool and it should be kept alive as long as possible. |
@tkalfaoglu I was referring at the AIS tool -- the GNURadio project is still well maintained :) |
Oh I'm sorry - very sorry to hear about the AIS tool too. I intended to use it in real life soon |
@tkalfaoglu Well, AIS tool is still working fine if you use a correct version of GNURadio. Also consider that some distributions had the tool already compiled in, if it's still there ^_^ Anyway, with some googling and hacking around, I am sure you can still use it ;-) Cheers! |
Swig isn't part of gnuradio v.3.9 anymore. It has been replaced with Pybind11 (https://www.gnuradio.org/news/2021-01-17-gnu-radio-v3.9.0.0-release/). Would be great to use the AIS tools in newer versions.
