The issue is not present after disabling uBO in the browser.
I checked the documentation to understand that the issue I am reporting is not normal behavior.
I tried to reproduce the issue when...
uBO is the only extension.
uBO uses default lists and settings.
using a new, unmodified browser profile.
Description
When attempting to install the latest uBlock0_1.62.1b1.firefox.signed.xpi version on Firefox 56.0.2 (64-bit) on a Mac, I receive the following message "This add-on could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt." I attempted a clean installation as well as the "drag onto open Firefox window" without success. I also attempted to manually add it directly to my profiles "extensions" folder without success. When doing that, the error doesn't appear but uBO doesn't load nor is it listed under Tools->Add-Ons.
A specific URL where the issue occurs.
My default homepage is https://www.google.com but this isn't material to the issue.
Steps to Reproduce
Start Firefox.
Drag uBlock0_1.62.1b1.firefox.signed.xpi to the open window.
Error appears regarding corruption.
Expected behavior
I had hoped that uBlock0_1.62.1b1.firefox.signed.xpi would install as Firefox 56 does require signing.
