CUPyDO is a multi-code interfacing environment for the coupling of generic (independent) fluid and solid solvers in order to perform simulations of Fluid-Structure Interaction problems. The coupling tool is implemented using the object-oriented Python language and is based on a wrapping methodology to interface the solvers. Robust and accurate strong coupling algorithms are intuitively implemented with a high level of flexibility and modularity regarding the compatibility of each coupled solver.
CUPyDO is developed at the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Liège (Belgium).
