Transfer of product attributes and presets between Umbraco Cloud environments

Is there a way to transfer the product attributes and presets found under Options in the Commerce section between Umbraco Cloud environments (Local, Dev, and Live)?

Having to keep these in sync manually is error-prone and should be avoided.

What version of Vendr.Deploy / Umbraco.Commerce.Deploy are you using?

These should be transferable but as these are "user generated" they aren't transferred on disk, rather they are transferred like content so you'd need to actually set them to transfer. They should also auto transfer should you push content that has a multi variant property editor on it.

That looks like an Umbraco Deploy bug assuming the udi column is going to be a specific length (which is likely true for Umbraco itself, but not for third parties). That might need raising on the Umbraco Deploy issue tracker to have the column size increased.

Spoken to Andy and he's going to take a look. In the meantime he thinks you can probably connect to the db and update the tables manually and increase the UDI column lengths to like 100 and that should fix it. You may need to update multiple tables, umbracoDeployDependency, umbracoDeploySignature, as well as umbracoDeployTransferQueue.

The attribute presets are "small" enough for me to handle manually for the time being, no problem. I'll hold off on manually updating the tables. There's hopefully also a Vendr -> Umbraco Commerce migration coming up soon for us as well (still waiting to hear back from "suits" btw).

I believe we should track the attributes by alias anyway so even if you transfer them by hand, once this is fixed, it should auto recognize them as one and the same even though you create them manually.
