My mouse has been at 10% for over a month now (maybe two), and I consistently get warned how low the battery is.
Apparently some devices take a lot longer to die than others. I don't know how hard it would be to implement, but it would be awesome if there was a way to set a custom threshold based on device. Maybe I need an alert at 5%? Who knows?

Are you asking about the notifications or the device colours? The notifications are handled by GNOME, which uses upower for the thresholds, so you should be able to configure those for all devices with some system configs. If you wanted to make it per-device you'd need to file an issue upstream.

If you're specifically talking about the colour change for low battery on the device icons provided by this extension, I guess a setting could be added to configure the levels, but making them device specific starts to become a pain if that's not necessary.
