Windows builds don't work

I have tried almost everything under the sun to get this to build properly under Windows but it just won't. I pretty much always get duplicate symbol errors.

It would be nice if this could be resolved. I don't plan to do my main development on Windows but if I do continue game development then I will inevitably need to make Windows builds. Cross compilation from Linux had similar issues.
