KonanaVision is a mobile application that demonstrates the capabilities of augmented and virtual reality and is powered by ViroReact and React Native. The app was built over the course of a week in Spring 2019 for my final MIS 301H project.
KonanaVision has two main experiences. The first is a augmented reality experience where users can summon a virtual model of my MIS 301H professor, Professor Prabhudev Konana. The virtual model can be dragged around in space and is interactive; when tapped on, the model plays a sound byte of a catchphrase used by Konana. The second experience is virtual reality experience that is designed for Google Cardboard. With a Google Cardboard worn, users can view a 360 image of UT Austin at night.
