Hello, My name is Yi Yao（姚懿）. I am a graduate student in Chemistry Department in UNC-Chapel Hill. My research is focusing on computational study of water ionic solutions. I have two lovely bosses, Yosuke and Max. I love coding and use it to solve the scientific problems. It is like a dream starting from my childhood. C++ and python are two of my favorate languages. I do parallel computing although I don't like writing and debuging with MPI codes. [Chapel](http://chapel.cray.com/) seems to be a better way to go for parallel computing. I am always willing to learn something new especially the methods in computational fields.
I love sports, playing basketball a lot, running, biking, tennis, raquetball, ping-pong, soccer. And, I am willing to try all kinds of sports. I love board games, also. Now, I am a little bit addict to settler of satan. Risk is also pretty good in my opinion. About music, I listen a lot of folk music and some jazz. They other stuffs I am doing at spare time are watching movies, talkshows, playing xbox and, watching online course videos. Another thing I am starting interested in is talking with people and making friends.
