Yes, you'll be in the situation I'm in where the gateway doesn't respond to commands anymore. I believe this program was now limited to be unable to disable the 5GHz radio to prevent the problem I'm having. |
What Gateway commands are you referring to? All I want is the Internet connection that I connect to my router using an ethernet cable and handle everything from there. |
Commands like turning the Wi-Fi radios back on. Mine currently won't do that, you can see my issue is still uncommented on. |
Was just thinking you could use the older version to turn both radios off, but don't restart it, then it look's like you'll have to factory reset to get them back on again. |
Where do I get the "older" version? |
I see a bunch of older versions, any suggestions on which one would allow me to turn off the 5G? |
I did update mine, so I don't have the older one. I would say a version from about a year ago, I've had the T-mobile for just over a year. |
I will give this a try and let you know how it goes. Thanks for your help! |
I got the HINTControl_Android_1.10.3 release and installed it. Worked perfectly. Both WiFi bands disable and hidden. The display screen on G4AR is working correctly as well. Thanks again for you help! |
I have the T-Mobil G4AR Gateway, when I attempt to disable to 5G WiFi I get this message. Please advise.
Thanks...
