Can I pause a song and restart from the beginning without prepare?

I'm able to play a mp3 file, but I need to put in pause and then restart it from the beginning.
Can I make this? Because I don't want to have any delay caused by the initial prepare operation.

Can I start immediately from the beginning a sound file while it is the in the middle of the playing, without having any delays ?
