Zesty.io is releasing the improved WYSIWYG editor experience that's driven by feedback we've heard from our users. This article provides a walkthrough of the improvements, designed for a better experience with our platform.

Quickly select and format text with our Floating Toolbar

You can now quickly format large sections of text by simply selecting the text you wish to format and then applying the formatting changes (e.g. bold, italics, etc.) from the floating toolbar.

Insert Content Faster with Slash Commands

To increase speed and efficiency in writing content in the Zesty.io WYSIWYG editor, we are introducing a Slash Command Menu. With this enhancement, a simple slash command prompt (typing a “/”) opens a menu that allows you to insert Headings, Lists, Tables, AI generated content, and more.

Visual Improvement for a Neater Experience

The improved WYSIWYG editor leverages our Material Design Language that makes it visually consistent with the rest of the Zesty.io platform.

Full Screen Mode Optimized for Readability

The full-screen mode of WYSIWYG now features a constrained text content width, making it easier for users to read and edit content.

Our WYSIWYG now uses TinyMCE 6.7

The WYSIWYG field has been upgraded the latest version of Tiny MCE - Version 6.7 which has multiple bug fixes and improvements.
